Connected World Post No.2 ♪
♥♥Connected World Blogging No.2♥♥
Well, hi there! I’m back again and I’ll be writing about another blogger too. So this time I chose a women name , I chose her because I think she has the latest news, which is on March the 8th this year. Juliana is from one of the countries in my region, Chile. One thing I’d just want to point out is that at school we were researching about our regions, therefore I have to research about South America.
♥The blog post that Juliana wrote about was celebrating International Woman’s Day. This post was post on March the 8th but I am not really sure that that day was the day it was celebrated on. So this celebration started since the early 1900s’, this celebration was created as a reminder of all the wrongs done to womankind and fighting for women rights that women needs equality between genders. In the present time that the Chile’s and some other countries in South America celebrated it is now for the improvements and resolved problems that had been solved for womankind. This celebration is also expressed by marching songs and poems.
♥While reading this blog post I think Juliana, since she’s a woman, is probably feeling happy that people in her country are celebrating the rights of hers and the rights of her gender. When I was writing the sentence before a thought came up into my mind is that, even my country doesn’t celebrate International Women’s Day I do feel a little happy about parts of America celebrating something that is related to me. Another thing is that I appreciated the creation of this celebration day because it is part of fighting for my rights too. So overall it’s like a celebration for all women in the world!
♥For making this post and finding the facts I have not used iGoogle at all because I just really think going straight to the website is a lot faster and also not to waste time. The thing I’ve said had already been mentioned before in my first blog post for connected world.
♥Lastly, I would like you guys out there, or maybe all around the world, to think about the things that can be solved or the things that can help women to get their rights and equality with men. I really think it is a hard thing to actually solve or do anything about it because this world is a large planet and stopping this problem is not an easy thing to do. Today, I just came back from this Chinese traditional thing called “Chengmeng,” it is a time where Chinese related people do stuffs and give stuffs every year to our ancestors, but in this case it is my great grandmother and father. So stopping anything big in this world is like trying to stop tons of people from doing what they always do and believe or even trying to stop cruelty.

In Peru, women members of the Collective Canto a la Vida marched in Lima, demanding the respect of women’s rights as well as sexual and reproductive rights: the right to therapeutic abortions, against forced sterilizations and for access to the Day after Pill.

Hey Eve!!
I think it’s great that some countries are celebrating the rights of certain people that we can relate to. I agree that woman should get thier rights equality with men. Even though it’s been tried to stop for ages, there still is some equality.
I also didn’t use my iGoogle for my blogger this time, because it was just much faster to type in the webpage.
Well you did a great job!

Your post is very thorough. You made such good connections between International Women’s Day and our daily lives. It was also so interesting to read about “Chengmeng.”
